Tides Edge Keepsakes

Kristen Start creates beautiful seaweed pressings which are presented in the form of elegant pendants or frame-able art.   The pendants have glass bezels which add refinement to the designs. The seaweed is collected by the artist along the edges of the sea by her home in Five Islands Maine and then pressed, using a century old process, into works of art from nature. No resins are used in this process, keeping them healthy for both the artist and the environment.
