Stained Glass Work

Heidi has returned to her creative roots and has begun exploring glass work in her studio at Five Islands Farm. Originally a sculptor, she finds that glass work satisfies a need to create and build. Her work features small gifts and original design panels that are inspired by the glass and enhanced as the light interacts with the different pieces of stained and figured glass. She works in both the Tiffany technique of foil and lead as well as traditional lead came. Many times work incorporates shells, stones and glass gems to add dimension.
