Stained Glass Work

Heidi has returned to her creative roots and has begun exploring glass work in her studio at Five Islands Farm. The work features small gifts and original design panels that are inspired by the glass and enhanced as the light interacts with the different pieces of stained and figured glass. Made using the Tiffany technique of foil and lead solder, often incorporating shells, stones and glass gems to add dimension. See the stained glass jewelry pendants here.

Abstract Stained Glass
This abstract stained glass panel incorporates lively colors and evokes movement and music. Bright primary colors framed in a clear textured glass and zinc. Measures approximately 10x14 inches. Made with glass, copper and 60/40 solder. Contains lead wash hands after handling.
Oyster Shells Stained Glass
Oyster shells in stained glass make a beautiful combination. This piece is made of Georgetown Island Oyster shells combined with beautiful handmade glass from Youghiogheny Glass. It is set in a 12" round format.
Made using the Tiffany method which utilizes copper foil and solder.
Caution: Contains Lead wash hands after handling.
Circles in Blues
Circles in blue is part of a new series of circular stained glass work. This piece is made in shades of lovely blues with touches of clear and green glass. Measures approximately 8" in diameter. Made in the Tiffany method with copper foil and 60/40 lead solder. Wash hands after handling.
Lobster Claw with Lemon
Original Lobster claw design available in three sizes. It features rich colored glass in red, yellow and lime green. The framed design pops with fun and is a great gift for any lobster lover or foodie! Glass sizes are 5x5 or 4x4 inch Framed overall sizes are 6-3/16 inch square or 5 inch square. Small 3.75" is self framed with came. Glass may vary slightly from pictures as they are made with handmade glass and each piece varies. *Optional feet are available for the larger size for a more secure desktop display. Both framed sizes will stand without feet. Small size hangs.

Stained Glass Star
Multiple colors. Sizes range from approximately 5x5 inches to 9x9 inches. Pictures are representative only. Each star is unique and different glass is used for each star created. Choose your color and size. If you would like specific pictures of what is available before ordering, please email and we can send you pictures. If we are out of stock on the size or color you would like please email me. I would be happy to make it for you. Please allow one to two weeks.

Growing Hearts #1
A heart doodle in stained glass features rich red glass in textures and water glass contrasted with thick frosted glass. A lovely gift for someone you love. Framed in lead came. Measures approximately 5.5 x 5.5 inches with two hanging points. Original design.

Fantasy Fish in glass
Fantasy fish in happy colors! This fish will brighten any day! Measures approximately 7x17 inches. Original design.
Can be made in many colors. This is a special order and requires at least 2 weeks notice. If it can be completed sooner we will get it to you when ready. Contact us for specifics. Glass availability is always changing. Add color preference in comments and we will work with you to plan your unique piece.

Growing Hearts #2
Growing heart #2 is a doodle that has been recreated in glass. An original design measures approximately 7x7 inches overall. Glass size is 6x6.
Funky Hearts
Quirky stained glass heart sun catcher or ornament . Each heart is unique and there are two sizes. Small hearts measure a minimum 2.25 x 4 inches. Medium hearts measure a minimum of 3.25 x 4.75 inches. Glass may be textured or smooth. Actual heart may vary from pictured hearts but will be similar. If we are out of the size or color please contact us, we are happy to make more, please give us a minimum of 1 to 2 weeks to complete an order.
