Stained Glass Work

Heidi has returned to her creative roots and has begun exploring glass work in her studio at Five Islands Farm. The work features small gifts and original design panels that are inspired by the glass and enhanced as the light interacts with the different pieces of stained and figured glass. Made using the Tiffany technique of foil and lead solder, often incorporating shells, stones and glass gems to add dimension.

Oyster Shells Stained Glass
Oyster shells in stained glass make a beautiful combination. This piece is made of Georgetown Island Oyster shells combined with beautiful handmade glass from Youghiogheny Glass. It is set in a 12" round format.
Made using the Tiffany method which utilizes copper foil and solder.
Caution: Contains Lead wash hands after handling.
Abstract Oyster Panel
An oyster panel in rich colors that mimic the multi color shells. Oyster shells from oysters grown by Georgetown oyster farms. Measures approximately 11"H x 14.5"W.
Growing Hearts #1
A heart doodle in stained glass features rich red glass in textures and water glass contrasted with thick frosted glass. A lovely gift for someone you love. Framed in lead came. Measures approximately 5.5 x 5.5 inches with two hanging points. Original design.

Lobster Claw with Lemon
Original Lobster claw design available in three sizes. It features rich colored glass in red, yellow and lime green. The framed design pops with fun and is a great gift for any lobster lover or foodie! Glass sizes are 5x5 or 4x4 inch Framed overall sizes are 6-3/16 inch square or 5 inch square. Small 3.75" is self framed with came. Glass may vary slightly from pictures as they are made with handmade glass and each piece varies. *Optional feet are available for the larger size for a more secure desktop display. Both framed sizes will stand without feet. Small size hangs.
